New Heart for Heywood’s Electronic sign has been alight with Proud Sponsorship from Heywood Distribution Park for the months of December, January, February and March.

December ...

December saw the Distribution Park give a donation of their sponsorship money to New Heart Community Transport. David Driver, Park Manager from Heywood Industrial Park said “We are delighted to provide our support for Heart of Heywood's fundraising initiatives and we are pleased that Heywood's community transport scheme will benefit from this month's sign sponsorship. The transport scheme provides an excellent service - one that is particularly beneficial to the people of Heywood."

Heywood New Heart Community Transport is a flexible public transport service you can use when you need it. You share the transport with other passengers to travel anywhere in your local area, including Heywood Industrial Park, Pilsworth, Hopwood Hall, Birch Industrial Estate, Birch Motorway Services, Fairfield General Hospital and others as required and anywhere within the Heywood Area and beyond if unable to travel on conventional transport.

The service will pick you up from home and take you where you want to go. It's ideal if you don't have a car and you want to visit relatives and friends, community and local district centres, sports and Leisure activities or out and about in your local area.

Neil Foley, Manager of New Heart Community Transport said The donation given by Heywood Distribution Park is extremely welcome. It recognises the impact that Heywood New Heart Community Transport has on individuals and companies operating in Heywood. At the same time it ensures that the staff and volunteers who operate the service feel appreciated and, as a result, its value is far in excess of the financial amount of the award”.
