Heywood Model Railway Group meet at 7pm Monday Evenings (except bank holidays) in Champness Hall Drake St Rochdale. The club has around 30 permanent members who build and exhibit models ranging from "N" gauge to "O" gauge. We have several models set up in the club rooms and you are welcome to pay us a visit on a Monday evening. An Exhibition showing some of our models and those of other Model Railway Societies is held in March each year.

Heywood Arts is a local registered charity promoting participation in the creative, visual and performing arts. We develop projects and training in response to local demand, raising local skills, confidence and contributing to increased community cohesion. We are keen to develop meaningful links, local and regionally, to the benefit of our community particularly but not exclusively, with young people.

Siddal Moor Sports College is one of twelve 11-16 Comprehensive Schools in the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale.
